How to Make a Sidewalk Chalkboard Sign

7 Jul , 2014   Video

The following video will show a beginner how to make a sidewalk chalkboard sign.
A sidewalk or sandwich board is a type of advertisement composed of two boards that lean inwards at the top (like a letter A) Very portable and can be carried by one person. These nifty signs are used to advertise products for coffee shops, bars and at special events like a wedding or golf tournament. The information would be written with chalk.
This was a project that was made for my spouses wedding business. She would rent them out to clients. it’s a clever way to indicate where the dance floor, ┬áreception room or to congratulate the newly married ┬ácouple. The cost of the overall project could not exceed the rental fee for the one sidewalk chalkboard signs. The plan was to keep the budget around $50.00 for each sign.
