The inglorious outhouse needed a heater. There was complaints from “management” that it was torture to run outside on cold nights. So, I hit the internet and did some research. Watch a video about a gentleman that heated his room with a flower-pot heater. Sounded like a good idea and thought I would give it a go.
Found a few Terra Cotta clay pots that were not being used. I choose to use a 6″ and 3″ in diameter pot.
For the last year or so, I’ve been puttering around with a wood stove fan. The purpose of the fan was to push warm air to other parts of the room. It would be powered by a Peltier module.
The first build, was a bit of a fail. It did generate some power, but not enough to turn the blade. Almost 90% the parts were gleaned from junk.
